IMO the best system available is the HCam Master T-S rig, which uses the Mirex adapter and is available with different lenses.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14462331246844367156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826231802859523569.post-84211569541892208072013-11-09T23:11:56.954-08:002013-11-09T23:11:56.954-08:00thanks! Good point!

I respect Bryan at Th...Joe,
Good point!

Anonymous,
I respect Bryan at The Digital Picture a lot, so I don't doubt the validity of his review. However, lens copies can vary greatly, and generally speaking the cheaper the lens the more variation. As a result, it's more likely that I ended up with a better copy of the lens than he did.

I didn't fabricate my results so if you use your own eyes you can see what I see and why I came up with the conclusion I did. What's more, if I were a pure businessman I'd tell you to just get the Canon and avoid the Rokinon because my commission would be larger. However, that's never been what this blog is about (nor do I think that is what Bryan's site is about). We came to different conclusions simply based on the lens copies we got and the data we independently obtained using similar testing methodologies.

My reason for doing this review is because I know a lot of people can't afford to buy the Canon TS-E lenses. Sure they are great, but they are just out of reach for many - especially due to them being a low frequency usage lens for many as well. At half the price, I still conclude it's reasonable for a non-professional who wants a tilt shift for hobby purposes to pick one up and give it a try. If you buy from a reputable retailer like B&H then they'll happily exchange it for a different copy or refund your money, so it's worth a try for the budget conscience.

Ronronmartblog.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06815090271742112506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826231802859523569.post-69284606784533667362013-06-11T04:20:01.200-07:002013-06-11T04:20:01.200-07:00http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Samyang...http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Samyang-24mm-f-3.5-Tilt-Shift-Lens-Review.aspx

they come to a differnet conclusion....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826231802859523569.post-25576886758601931442013-06-06T10:07:26.737-07:002013-06-06T10:07:26.737-07:00One thing that is going unsaid here but I thought ...One thing that is going unsaid here but I thought would be worth mention... This is one of the only options for T-S available for the Sony/Minolta system A-mount and easily the least expensive I have seen which isn't a T-mount or M42 mount adapted lens.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
