As I said in the article, the s110 seems to be the way to go now since the G15 doesn't have the big external controls and pivot LCD advantage anymore.ronmartblog.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06815090271742112506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826231802859523569.post-66092523236189661052012-11-16T06:04:03.392-08:002012-11-16T06:04:03.392-08:00also very interested in the RX100 (will work out h...also very interested in the RX100 (will work out how to pay for it later).
it's a shame indeed thtat the G15 lost some external controls- that's 1/2 the selling points of the camera for me.
patrick dinneenhttp://www.photoblog.ienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5826231802859523569.post-19563787213864881432012-11-16T04:05:57.495-08:002012-11-16T04:05:57.495-08:00Dag,

I had the S100 and was reasonable happy with it, but bought the RX100 a week ago and it is in a completely different league. Not just in image quality, but also in speed, handling and all those other aspects of a camera that determines whether you get the shot or not. For the very first time I find shooting with a pocketable compact an enjoyable experience, and this camera will go with me everywhere.Dagnoreply@blogger.com
