I have an A7r2 and an A9 and like them both a lot. I’m skipping the A7r3 while hoping for an A9r. The A9 is so responsive with good ergonomics and fast it is really fun to shoot. It has become my go to camera for every day shooting. <br /><br />For fun, I’m experimenting with using jpegs instead of RAWS and results are very good so far. I can believe your comments about the A7r3 besting some medium format gear as the dynamic range of Sony sensors is terrific and with the best lenses the detail is there.
