REVIEW: Topaz Impression 2 (Discount Offer)

Video Tour

To help you better understand how this product works I created this video tour. While it's not a tutorial, you can get an idea how I use the product and in the end get a peek at how to customize to add your own personal touch:

Before and After Images

To give you some ideas how this product works, I created some one click edits that were created using the preset mentioned in the caption. Click on the images for a larger version.

Please note the abstract nature of these digitally painted photos means you'll need to view at a distance of at least 3 feet away to fully appreciate the effect.

Topaz Impression generates natural painterly effects by painting brush strokes one at a time. (It just does this very fast!) Impression can paint over 10,000 brushstrokes in less than a second, all while completely following your artistic direction, making truly personal art that you can call your own.

Conclusion

This is one of the most creative products on the market, so I highly encourage you to at least try it out. While it can be a bit slow compared to what you are used to with other plug-ins, it's worth the wait for what it does - which sometimes can be mind blowing.

This is one of my favorite products of 2016, so I highly recommend it for someone wanting go in a totally different direction with their photos - just get ready for some "wow's" when people see it on hanging on the wall in your Meural digital canvas or your Whitewall print.

Impression 2 requires Windows 7+, Mac OSX 10.9+, and a GPU with OpenGL 3.3 or higher.
